Series 185 EMU was built in 1981-1982, and has been operated for a long period even before the time when Japanese National Railways was split into JR companies; but, the time for their retirement is coming closer.
Bathing bright sunlight in the midsummer and sea breeze, series 185 train “Odoriko” runs on the coastal route along Pacific in Atami city, a famous hot spring resort.
