An old tram in an old city

Almost 10 years ago in the old city center of Milan, Italy, this tram came along as I was going toward the Opera House from Duomo Cathedral (under restoration at the time).
The tram’s yesteryear look brought back memories and before I knew it I had my camera in my hand.
New trams also run in Milan these days, making me wonder if trams like this one can keep up their work. We can only hope so.
