Harvest Train in Hokkaido

Containerized freight train dubbed as “Onion Train” is operated in the north-eastern part of Hokkaido during the harvest season of onion.
Forming a push-pull train, two(2) sets of diesel-electric locomotives Type DF200, 1,920kW/unit, are assigned to this operation.
