Northbound express along azure ocean

Series E653 of JR East was once put into service on Joban Line; but, later deployed in Niigata district and used for inter-regional express trains connecting Niigata and Akita with a new livery of milky ivory and orange persimmon.
High noon on a midsummer day, the northbound express “Inaho” appeared as a horizontal stroke between fresh green rice field and azure ocean.
