The first successful SIL4 certification of signalling field equipment (LEU) in Japan

Our union members, Kyosan Electric Manufacturing Co., Ltd. officially announced that it has attained successful full assessment and SIL4(Safety Integrity Level 4) certification for a signalling system in Japan. The assessment of the LEU (Lineside Electronic Unit) was performed by the European certification body, TÜV SÜD.
