The 9th UIC World Congress on High Speed Rail (7-9 July 2015)
The International Union of Railways (UIC) will hold its 9th World Congress on High Speed Rail in Japan, the first time such a congress will be held in this country. The international congress and associated exhibition will be the largest in the world to focus on high-speed rail transportation, and people active in the field will gather in the same place from many parts of the world.
As a representative of Japan’s railway industry, Japan Overseas Rolling Stock Association (JORSA) has made it a tradition to collaborate with JR group companies in mounting exhibits at UIC congresses. In recognition of the fact that the upcoming congress will be held in Japan, JORSA’s presentation in collaboration with the JR Group will highlight a half century of high-speed rail in Japan. The exhibit will be in the lobby gallery near the congress registration reception desk.
JORSA will also set up a stand in the exhibition hall, collaborating with four member companies to present many aspects of Japan’s superlative rail transportation systems. While you are attending the congress, we look forward to meeting you at the JORSA stand (No. B-8).
