The Kinki Sharyo Co.,Ltd received an order from Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transit Authority (LACMTA), via KINKISHARYO INTERNATIONAL, L.L.C for 235 of High-Floor Light Rail Vehicle. It is the first project for us to manufacture Carbody in our US factory.
The type of rolling stock is High-Floor, two-cars articulated stainless steel LRV.
The front masks are designed with bright yellow to improve visibility and safety. Additionally, the mask with LACMTA’s logo and sign lights is expressive of “smiley”.
