Series 251 of JR East, 1500V DC 6M4T DC motor driven, is a partially double-decked train with panoramic windows, mostly operated for carrying tourists from Tokyo/Yokohama area to the hot spring resorts in Izu Peninsula.
One Saturday afternoon, gentle spring rain rendered a fantastic setting with a cherry tree in full bloom and a tiny temple for this limited express train.
