JORSA at the World Congress on Railway Research in Sydney, Australia

The 10th World Congress on Railway Research (WCRR) was held from November 25 to 28, 2013 in Sydney, Australia, and Japan Overseas Rolling Stock Association (JORSA) was there for the first time, presenting exhibits with three member companies (Kyosan Electric Mfg. Co., Ltd., Mitsubishi Electric Corporation and Nippon Sharyo Ltd.) and Tokyo Metro Co., Ltd.

WCRR is an international meeting of rail transport researchers focusing primarily on railway technology, and is held once every two years in a different part of the world. For 2013, the Congress was held in conjunction with the annual AusRAIL PLUS, Australia’s largest rail conference and exhibition. The combined event welcomed many visitors and was a great success.
